The shrine was historically famous for plum trees where even Hiroshige created a woodblock print. However, in 1910, a great flood ruined the garden. The current garden was built in 1994. Free admission. Mar 31, 2012

One thing though, when it snows, it may form clumps on these steel beams. When the snow melts, is it gonna fall to earth, possible hitting someone? Snow falling from the tower was observed this past winter when it snowed in Tokyo.Apr 15, 2010
